The South East Europe fair of municipalities "NEXPO 2011", was held in the Olympic Hall ”Juan Antonio Samaranch" on the 10-th and 11-th March, 2011. The Municipality of Petrovo had a remarkable performance. It was a meeting place for a large number of mayors, representatives of local authorities, international organizations and donors.

The project "Pet Roboris", aims to train, equip and strengthen the overall system of protection and rescue of civilians and property in situations of major accidents and natural disasters and it is implemented in the municipalities of the valley of the river Spreča - Doboj, Petrovo, Gračanica, Doboj- East and Lukavac.

Petrovo is one of 13 partner municipalities in BiH, which participates in the implementation of this project.

On 20.11.2020. delegation of European Union in Serbia and Joint Technical Secretariats for cross-border-cooperation between BiH and Serbia, and Serbia and Montenegro, organized on Zlatibor ceremony signing of contracts for all beneficiaries whose projects were approved for funding in a first public call.
